Help name the new control
« on: November 15, 2010, 02:30:02 PM »
Our protype CMI-30A has a new control which has the working title "character". This is an assignable realtime control that takes a sound from really grungy, through CMI-II and III to Crystal Core purity at 11 (other samplers only go  to 10, of course).

Can anyone think of a snappier name than 'character'?

don't know if these are snappy but here are a few starters....

direction 1 :  sparkle, luster, gleam, sheen, polish

direction 2 : corrode, oxidize, degenerate, texture

direction 3 : time travel (80, 90, 00, 10, beyond), chronologic vortex, past future (infinite knob that lets you go back to the future)

  • Purity or Purification
  • Fidelity (low to high or "lo" to "hi")
  • Cleanser
  • Nostalgia
  • Originator
  • CMI-Fi (Fi for Fidelity as in my 2nd suggestion)
